Terms of Use

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE (this "Agreement") CAREFULLY BEFORE DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE TASKER APPLICATION. This Agreement is an End User License Agreement ("EULA") between you ("you" or "User") and the developer of Tasker ("Tasker", "we", "us", or "the Developer"). It governs your access to and use of the Tasker mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the App.

1 The Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Tasker Privacy Policy and any additional terms disclosed in the App, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Tasker regarding the App. If you are using the App on a Solana Mobile device or through the Solana Mobile dApp Store, your use is also subject to the Solana Mobile dApp Store Developer Agreement and Publisher Policy, which govern your relationship with Solana Mobile. This Agreement does not modify those documents; in the event of a direct conflict between this Agreement and the Solana Mobile terms as they apply to you, the Solana Mobile terms will control with respect to your use of the dApp Store.

2 License to Use the App

Subject to your continued compliance with this Agreement, Tasker grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, lend, rent, host, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of the App, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this limitation. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by the Developer.

3 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App lawfully and reasonably. You will not misuse the App or use it for any illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited activity. In particular, you agree not to:

Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, the Solana network, or any third-party service;
Introduce viruses, malware, or any other malicious code;
Use the App to transmit, store, or process unlawful material; or
Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App.

4 Restricted Content

Tasker is a personal task manager, not a marketplace, exchange, or escrow service. You are solely responsible for the content of your own tasks. You must not use the App to create, store, or share content that:

Is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or threatening;
Promotes violence, terrorism, child sexual abuse material, or non-consensual explicit content;
Facilitates malware, ransomware, phishing, or other cyberattacks;
Constitutes Regulated Data (as defined in the Privacy Policy) that you do not have the right to possess;
Facilitates money laundering, sanctions evasion, or other financial crime; or
Attempts to conduct a fraudulent or deceptive transaction, including through the tip feature.

The Developer reserves the right to investigate and take action where misuse is identified. This App does not facilitate trading of digital assets, securities, or tokens and is not a regulated financial service.

5 Local-first & Data Responsibility

Tasker stores task data locally on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device secure, backing up data when needed, and protecting any JSON export files. The Developer is not responsible for data loss caused by device damage, app removal, device reset, user error, or any other factor beyond the Developer's reasonable control.

6 Reminders & Notifications

Tasker provides a reminder feature based on local notifications. Reminders may depend on device notification permissions, battery settings, the operating system, device time accuracy, and background-process restrictions. The Developer does not guarantee that every reminder will appear on time on every device.

7 Import & Export

Tasker provides JSON import and export. You are responsible for ensuring imported files are valid and come from a trusted source.

The Developer is not responsible for data damage caused by an incorrect, corrupted, or improperly modified import file.

8 Wallet, Tip & Premium

Tasker may provide an optional developer-support feature via tips using a Solana wallet. By using the wallet/tip feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

Blockchain transactions are final and cannot be reversed once confirmed;
Wallet addresses and transaction signatures can be visible publicly on-chain;
Network (gas) fees may apply and are set by the network, not by Tasker;
The value of crypto assets can fluctuate;
You are solely responsible for the security of your own wallet, private keys, and seed phrases; and
Tips to the Developer are voluntary and non-refundable.

Premium features may be granted as an appreciation to users who support the Developer, following the mechanism available in the App.

9 No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

Nothing in the App, including any information related to wallets, tips, Solana, or blockchain, constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for your own decisions when using blockchain features and should consult qualified professionals as needed.

10 Premium Features

Tasker may offer premium features such as additional themes or other visual enhancements. The Developer may change, add, or remove premium features at any time. If premium has an expiry period, premium status will follow the terms shown in the App. Premium features are provided on an "as is" basis alongside the rest of the App.

11 Third-party Fees & Services

Your device, mobile carrier, wallet provider, RPC provider, and the Solana network may impose fees (including gas fees) or availability restrictions that are outside the Developer's control. The Developer is not responsible for any third-party fees or for the acts or omissions of any third party.

12 Disclaimer; "As Is"

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT REMINDERS WILL ALWAYS APPEAR.

13 Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE APP, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR UNDER ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF THE DEVELOPER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT, IF ANY, YOU HAVE PAID TO THE DEVELOPER THROUGH THE APP (FOR EXAMPLE, VIA TIPS) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50. NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (SUCH AS LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT WHERE SUCH LIMITATION IS NOT PERMITTED).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

14 Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Developer (and its affiliates, employees, and agents) from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, settlements, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the App; (b) your violation of this Agreement or any applicable law; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) your conduct in connection with any blockchain transaction, including tips.

15 Changes to the App

The Developer may update, change, improve, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice, in order to improve quality, security, or compliance. The Developer is not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

16 Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it; you are encouraged to export your data first if you want to keep a backup. The Developer may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time if you breach this Agreement or if the Developer reasonably believes you have engaged in misconduct. Upon termination, the license granted in Section 2 ends, and you must cease using the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 12, 13, 14, 17, and 18) will survive.

17 Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, code, and the "Tasker" name and logo, is owned by or licensed to the Developer and protected by intellectual property laws. Your task content remains yours; nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of your data to the Developer. The Solana name and related marks are property of their respective owners; Tasker is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Solana Labs, Solana Mobile, or the Solana Foundation unless expressly stated.

18 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and the Developer submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the App, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact the Developer in good faith to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

19 Changes to These Terms

The Developer may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above and by posting the revised terms on this website or in the App. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
